The Bible introduces hundreds of individuals across sixty-six books, spanning thousands of years. Patriarchs and prophets, kings and disciples, forerunners and followers — their stories intersect in ways that a linear reading rarely makes visible. Sacred Lineage was built to surface those connections.
We believe rigorous study and genuine enjoyment are not opposites. The genealogies, teacher-disciple chains, and covenant relationships woven through Scripture carry real theological weight — and they are also fascinating. Sacred Lineage treats both as true at the same time. Every node in the tree is grounded in the biblical text. Every relationship type is drawn from how Scripture itself describes the connection. Nothing is invented or embellished.
At the same time, we designed the experience to feel alive. The force-directed graph responds to your exploration. Filters let you isolate the threads you care about. Timelines give you chronological footing. Study notes let you capture what you discover. We want a seminary student and a curious ten-year-old to both find something worth coming back to.

Every person, relationship, and category in the tree maps directly to the biblical text. We cite the source, not the tradition.
Academically serious
Relationship types — teacher, forerunner, in-law, companion — are chosen with care. The distinctions matter, and we treat them that way.

Sacred Lineage is a product of Blue Lagoon Consulting LLC, a software company registered in Washington State in 2024. We are a small, focused team with a long-term commitment to building tools that make biblical scholarship more accessible — without sacrificing depth.
We have no interest in building the loudest product in the room. We would rather build the one that a pastor, a student, or a curious reader returns to year after year because it keeps rewarding attention.
